Recruit Umeda, Osaka’s largest branch with 3,000 employees on four floors,faced limited interdepartmental communication.To foster connections beyond boundaries, we designed the work area with two refresh spaces,“CO-EN33”and“CO-EN38.”The work area layout balances focus and interaction, with careful attention to sightlines and acoustics.“CO-EN33”uses radial zoning to encourage gradual communication & chance encounters, creating a lively atmosphere.“CO-EN38”offers a quiet space for small groups,strengthening bonds.Together,they form a next-generation workplace fostering creativity and community.
