Mingela Polo Residence sits lightly yet confidently in the ancient Australian landscape of Drummond, VIC. Surrounded by eucalypts and open pasture, the design embraces climate, light, and land. Brutalist in form yet open to the elements, it echoes the veranda tradition with a floating concrete deck, firepit, and infinity pool. Its refined materials and seamless transitions create a poetic dialogue between architecture and the vast, weathered beauty of the site. Every element is calibrated to celebrate the terrain—monumental, intimate, and deeply attuned to place.
