The Dongcaotun Rest Area not only provides convenient and comprehensive parking and restroom services, but through its eco-friendly design, it creates a "self-introducing rest area." The mountain-shaped roof merges with the surrounding topography, presenting itself to travelers and welcoming their arrival to the mountain town, Nantou. By bringing in the mountain view and wind flow, it leads people to feel, perceive, and naturally recognize the surrounding environment.
