Dishui Lake Plaza, in the heart of Lingang New City, is a key urban hub for commerce and transit. The redesign solves issues of poor circulation, aging infrastructure, and low vitality through three strategies: ground integration, vertical connectivity, and activation. Four themed plazas link the lakefront, parks, and underground retail. Inspired by Shanghai’s city flower, the metro station features petal-like curves, a ringed canopy, and a viewing terrace. As one of China’s most beautiful metro stations, the project boosts urban identity and commercial energy.
