As part of an extensive refitting project, the existing fluorescent tubes in the heritage-listed multipurpose halls of Kulturwerk am See in Norderstedt were replaced with modern LED technology. The particular challenge lay in preserving the original lighting concept, with its distinctive light distribution characteristics and fixture layout, while simultaneously incorporating state-of-the-art technologies. The new lighting concept preserves the architectural identity of the halls while enhancing their technical capabilities — much to the delight of both visitors and event organizers.
