The renovation of NT33 and NT34 transforms two densely packed 1980s village buildings in Nantou Old Town into a cultural exhibition space while preserving their residential and commercial functions. Through subtle architectural interventions—lightweight additions, reconfigured circulation, and layered spatial reuse—the project becomes a mixed-use vertical art museum. It invites visitors to wander through overlapping public, private, and display zones, redefining how cultural infrastructure can coexist with everyday urban life in one of Shenzhen’s most historically dense neighborhoods.
