Once a humble roadside beacon for weary travelers along Colorado’s expanding highway system, Johnson’s Corner Gas Station was more than just a place to fill up, it was a gathering space, a community landmark, and a symbol of hospitality on the open road. Over the decades, however, time took its toll. The once vibrant neon-lit facade faded, the pumps ran dry, and the structure fell into a state of disrepair...until now. Through a thoughtful and deeply respectful renovation, Johnson’s Corner has been reborn in the heart of Prospect New Town, Longmont’s visionary walkable neighborhood.
