Rising on Chicago’s Lake Shore Drive, Solverre is a 12-story residential tower in Uptown by Willow Bridge Property Company, offering 303 apartments and a suite of urban amenities. Designed by VDT during the COVID-19 pandemic, the project navigated remote collaboration, virtual approvals, and careful massing studies. The U-shaped design captures lake and skyline views, while a brick and metal facade reflects local character. Solverre includes affordable units, bird-safe glazing, and green features aligned with the city’s sustainability goals, adding vibrancy and much-needed housing to Uptown.
