The new Pre-K–8 Michael Driscoll School creates a future-ready learning environment that relieves overcrowding, replaces outdated facilities, and strengthens a beloved neighborhood school. Designed for 800 students and 144 staff, the daylight-rich campus features 36 classrooms, flexible learning commons, art and maker spaces, and a 6,000-sf gymnasium. Organized around collaborative “learning rather than teaching,” the school doubles as a civic hub, reflecting Brookline’s long-term investment in equity, health, and delight.
