The Saulteau Cultural Centre stands as the emblematic centerpiece for the remote Saulteau First Nations community—offering a space for cultural connection and continuity. Loosely inspired by the teepee, its evocative roof sweeps across the main hall, as if billowing in the wind above the forest floor. Materiality accentuates this organicism through shades of composite shakes meticulously patterned to mimic the surrounding aspens. Inside hosts a gathering hall, kitchen, lounges, playroom, gym, and educational spaces, with art alcoves featuring custom murals that honour the Nation's history.
