Located on an island in Bahia, Brazil, the plot has lush vegetation and a prime sea-facing position. The clients, experienced guesthouse operators, wanted identical rooms with private pools, all facing the sea, built with cast-in-place concrete and masonry due to material transport challenges. However, this layout formed a massive block, disrupting the view. To counter this, we made each balcony unique, using local materials like cobogós, pergolas, and sculpted pools. This variation transformed the façade, blending nature and architecture seamlessly.
