El Encino integrates architecture and environment on the slopes of Santiago, Nuevo León. Its terraced volumes embrace the forest, turning away from neighboring structures and framing natural views. Lower levels blend parking and guest areas with the terrain’s stone walls, while the main floor opens to light, air, and vegetation through transparent partitions. Local materials, latticework, and weathered steel reduce environmental impact and foster a flexible, respectful lifestyle. This project sets a new standard in the area, urging future designs to harmonize with landscape and community.
