Located at the entrance to Daewangam, a coastal site in Korea, this project embraces a strict 20% building coverage by offering the majority of the site back to the public. Instead of maximizing volume, it creates walkable, open ground that blurs the line between private and civic space. Inspired by Korea’s traditional wall, six vertical wall grids per floor structure the space across three stories, forming a layered sequence of indoor and outdoor zones. Stone—used in landscape and interiors—anchors the design to its coastal context, creating a sculptural, public-facing presence.
