The Driftwood Village Center, situated on the bank of the Liugang Village Reservoir, is a pilot project for rural revitalization that aims to address local issues such as hollowing-out, aging population, and the singularity of industries. The project site is surrounded by vast paddy fields and residential villages. The architecture is designed to blend modestly into the agricultural landscape, preserving the existing field ridges and native vegetation. The form of the building draws inspiration from the surrounding environment, achieving a harmonious resonance with the natural scenery.
