Yiyang Civic Center is located on the south bank of Zishan Lake in Yiyang City, Hunan Province. The land is irregularly shaped with a total land area of 590,000 sqm. The entire building complex is arranged linearly along the mountain ridge, while the individual forms are streamlined. The architectural design extracts the traditional cultural intention of the Dongting Lake area, which is the "Dongting Fishing Song", forming a unified and distinctive facade for the building complex.
