The new Du Bosquet High School is located in Drummondville, in the Saint-Nicéphore sector, on the edge of a wooded area that strongly influenced the architectural design. The main architectural intention was to let the forest play the leading role. To emphasize the relationship with nature, the building's volume was designed to echo the stratification of the land. The building's materials combine transparency and vertical relief, evoking the full-empty effect of the forest edge. The light and energy it brings are also enhanced by abundant windows.
