Fold House is a residential property that “folds” into a hillside through its undulating wood and steel structure. The residence is partially concealed by the land’s topography, with the pool is nestled into the hill offering sweeping views from a burrowed vantage point. The undulating structure is a cantilevered canopy, creating a floating fold in the pavilion's roof. The design uses compression-bent wood—an artisanal technique typically used for furniture and musical instruments-at an architectural scale.
