This project revitalizes a 50-year-old house, transforming a once non-compliant extension. Guided by “minimal renovation” and “healthy living,” the design strips away excess to restore harmony with nature. The original interior staircase and rear additions were removed, and the floor raised to match the higher road level, reducing waste. A split-level layout enhances airflow, while part of the old stairwell is retained as a light and air well. Rainwater harvesting and a net flow ventilation system enable breathable, sustainable living integrated with the environment.
