The design presents a nostalgic journey through Hong Kong’s Central district using minimalist line drawings and oral histories. The spatial design flows from Tai Kwun outward, recreating iconic street elements—colonnades, pawn shops, cha chaan tengs—while evoking fading memories through subdued colors and materials. Visitors engage with interactive elements and archival content, immersing themselves in a layered narrative that blends personal stories with cultural heritage. The exhibition becomes both a walk down memory lane and a community platform through space, story, and shared experience.
