The playground is situated at the edge of the city near the Buriganga River, which once used to belong to the Hindu community for their cremation rites. As the population started to increase, change the demography increasing Muslim community. The open to sky cremation has become the source of carbon pollution and that resulted in conflicts between Hindu and Muslim. Moreover, the pond as dumping ground disarrayed the Hindu rituals. Therefore, the purpose of design was to mitigate the conflict between two communities.
