Drop-Stop is a pavilion for meditation on rainy days, designed to connect visitors with nature through a poetic and sublime interplay of water, light, and geometry. Drawing inspiration from the raindrops formed between the tiles of traditional Eastern architecture, we aimed to reform the spatial role of eaves, bringing water into the space. Glass tiles channel rain into mirrored pools, allowing visitors to touch, hear, and see water interact with light and shadow. Its triangular form, layered grates, and framed mountain views create an order of geometry between body, nature, and ritual.
