Shenzhen Citymark Center reimagines Luohu’s CBD through an “Urban Origami” landscape that sculpts folded green plinths and fluid public realms around a landmark tower. Inspired by paper folding’s precision and dynamism, the design weaves biodiverse plantings, efficient stormwater management and locally sourced materials to strengthen community ties and well-being, setting a new benchmark for sustainable urban placemaking. Innovative rooftop gardens and interactive water features spark engagement, while integrated lighting and art installations enhance safety, identity and nocturnal vibrancy.
