In this 400㎡ residence, the design embraces natural light and cultural warmth to craft a relaxed home. The subterranean atrium with a glass roof introduces daylight, where aged timber, bamboo shadows, and ink-wash paintings blur functional boundaries—becoming tea room, lounge, and theater. Black wood finishes extend visual depth, softened by warm daylight over Chinese and Western kitchens. On the ground floor, mirrors and glass blocks blur indoor-outdoor limits, while framed openings bring nature inside. Simplicity returns in the bedroom, where light and furniture accompany dawn and dusk.
