Geyuan Hotel is located at the southern foot of the West Lake on the The World Heritage List. It is composed of a group of Jiangnan garden buildings, covering an area of 11000 square meters. It has 73 guest rooms, five restaurants, three tea rooms and a fitness center. During the Southern Song Dynasty, Hangzhou was the busiest city in the world as described in Marco Polo's travelogue. The culture, art, and aesthetics of the Song Dynasty have influenced this city to this day. The hotel incorporates Song Dynasty aesthetics into its architecture, creating a unique garden experience.
