The project acts as a catalyst for public life and reinforces community identity, while implementing carbon-neutral strategies to achieve net-zero emissions across the building’s life-cycle. An “Urban Forest” of tree-like timber structures supports a solar-panel roof, creating an all-weather public space that generates enough energy to meet the building’s annual needs. A large-stepped terrace roof forms an “Amphitheater”, serving as a vibrant social hub. Prefabricated construction, vertical sunshade louvers, and a microclimate-regulated atrium further promote a green, low-carbon lifestyle.
