This kinetic installation transforms a HKD1 coin into a journey through HSBC’s 160-year legacy. A red ball travels a tourbillon-inspired mechanism, activating interactive scenes that depict the bank’s evolution—from founding documents and global expansion to its digital transformation. Rugby and arcade games symbolize support from sports to esports, while models of HSBC’s four iconic buildings trigger a central kinetic light sculpture. Ending with a robotic piano performance of HSBC’s iconic jingle, the piece fuses history, motion, and emotion into an immersive brand experience.
