“As you drink, remember its source.” Moongate House celebrates heritage, craft, and nature in a tropical home for a multi-generational family. Designed for both private living and diplomatic gatherings, it seamlessly accommodates family life and social needs. A sequence of spaces unfolds along a central axis — from welcoming foyer to banquet hall to private quarters — with the backdrop of the existing forest framed by a moon gate inspired by traditional arch bridges. This house honours family bonds and embraces nature, reflecting on one’s roots and bridging heritage with contemporary living.
