FÖNN-Snowdrift is a ski retreat that transcends the standard winter cabin typology by merging climate features, landform inspiration, contemporary design, and sustainability. Its basalt-clad form provides snowscreen and thermal mass against extreme conditions, with two bars merging into one and creating three distinct zones. A void entry deck separates human spaces from utility volumes, welcoming visitors and capturing majestic views. At either end, private and communal areas connect through a curved arcade corridor framing the scenes, offering a transformative winter-sport experience.
