On a wooded slope along Michigan’s storied Art Coast, Silver Lake is a bold, yet graceful home rooted in the land. Conceived as a retreat for art collectors originally from Rio de Janeiro, it fuses the elegance of Brazilian modernism with the raw beauty of rustic contemporary design. Open interiors extend to terraces, guest suites, and a plunge pool, dissolving boundaries between inside and out. In this serene lakeside setting, the residence becomes a sculptural, contemplative space—a dialogue between art, architecture, and nature that transforms it into both a retreat and a living gallery.
