Mokosh Restaurant at Villa Tončić is a sensitive transformation of a protected Secessionist villa in Split, Croatia. Studio 502 preserved historic elements while introducing minimal, reversible interventions. The Central Salon remains largely untouched, while the Green Salon was reimagined with contemporary materials referencing Secessionist geometry. Local artisans crafted bespoke joinery and restored vintage furniture, reducing material waste. The project demonstrates that adaptive reuse can renew heritage buildings with cultural, environmental, and functional integrity.
