Previously, the area housed utility buildings and private garages, there is also a railway with a train yard, administrative buildings, a metro station and one of the embankments with a boat station. Since 2020, Brusnika has begun redeveloping this area to integrate it into the urban environment, making it well-maintained, safe and attractive for all citizens. The area is divided into four separate residential blocks, which are located around a linear park. The park leads to a pedestrian bridge and a ravine with abandoned railway tracks, which will become a landscaped sports area.
