The Fiduciary Center of the Banque de France rises in La Courneuve, on a 4-ha site within the Great Paris perimeter. As it is planned to process over a billion bills (25% of the national reserves), the major building containing the safe is a monumental technological infrastructure which is specifically designed for ultra-secured and highly-automated environments rising 24 meters above the ground. Beside it, two buildings dating back from a former boiler factory - one from 1923 in brick, the other from 1987 in concrete - have been restored into offices and are open to the public.
