Based on Cedric Price’s Fun Palace, The Palace of Escape is an ever-changing adult-exclusive overnight recreational and leisure complex inside the Kwai Chung Container Terminal. Through sport activities and night life programmes, it would provide the satisfaction of escape and release to visitors from their fast pace, stressful, lifeless daytime living. Using a repetitive tectonic structural framework, increases mobility, adaptability, and flexibility of the construction. The structural framework would house a variety of different capsule modules for stationery night life programmes.
