A residential house with a great balance of private and shared space for rooms, privacy from the outside, while also still keeping natural sunlight. It sounds like conflicting elements to have both, but this is an example of how design can create them. To keep privacy from the outside, there are no windows but there is a courtyard all around, with windows on the 1st floor. Grating parts on the 2nd floor let the sunlight reach the 1st floor. It reflects on the wall to make soft natural light. It also controls air-tightness and heat insulation in order to make the space comfortable and stress-free.
