The existing facade was wrapped up with a billboard, with almost no natural light and ventilation at all. AC condensers also made the gap between the board and the facade very hot and slowly increased temperature inside the building. To dissipate the heat, the new facade is designed with greater porosity featuring 20 panels of black laminated tempered glass, tilted to let the hot air out. The orientation of the glass panels is alternating on each tier, but their edges are all lined up. The Client’s corporate colours are black, gold and pink, hence black glass, golden aluminium and pink lighting.
