Through the reconstruction of two abandoned housing buildings, the project balances the paradox between the "reservation" and "demolition", "inheriting" and "innovation", and using the idea to transform the buildings into unique cultural heritage. A new order of "form" and "function" has been established in design, and the integration between modern and traditional language has been completed. The regeneration and utilization of old industrial buildings not only maintain the historic continuity of the building entities, but also extend the local specific lifestyle and culture.
