The fire station grows in between two steep trapezoid-shaped peaks, 30m high, facing an important road artery. The building creates an iconic red slope, from which two elements jump out: the training tower and the white central hall. The design of this Honor Hall is deliberately different from the rest of the complex: white walls and deep shadows characterize this high, sharp space, which is used for ceremonies and exhibitions. The plan is quite complex, due to the site’s morphological features. It is made by a succession of parallel bands to combine different programs, arranged on many levels.
