The historic abbey was converted into a hotel, inviting guests to relax and creating an animated, inspiring conference venue, whilst also preserving the spirit of the building. The Forum, a new building, contrasts the abbey with a modern component. The arriving guests travel up to the pavilion in a lift overlooking Siegburg and the landscape. Entering the Abbey via the glass bridge they arrive at the reception: a mediating centre between the old and new building. The atmosphere in the former monastery is one of peace and quiet – inviting you to contemplate or share time with others.
