MOMENT Kanda is a bar mainly deal with ‘Hakushu’ whisky. The green behind the window was brought from Hakushu town in Yamanashi where its whiskey was created. To create a space people where can enjoy the passage of time, only natural and aged materials were used. Iron bars and branches with Hakushu green bottles are representing trees and leaves in the real forest. A massive wooden counter was sculpted by craftsmen as if it has spirits of the forest. As an architect, I hope MOMENT Kanda becomes a place for people to truly enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle of their day-to-day lives.
