Ombré timber tones are patchworked onto timber panels that gradually transition the space towards increasing privacy and warmth. The design brief was to create an environmentally-friendly home that would also resonate well with Fengshui. We wanted to create distinct zones and niches through a common medium (furniture, wall and partitions) which could modulate and differentiate as it transits through the space through both tectonics, gradient of colors and visual porosity. The distinction between private and public spaces was emphasized with the need for in-between spaces to buffer these zones.
