WESTBUND PENTHOUSE

The intervention aims at multiplying the possibilities of use of the attic space, as well as incorporating the rooftop as an outdoor extension through three main actions. 1. Reuse: the existing as much as possible in order to make the most of what is already there. 2. Remove: some of the existing partition walls and substitute them for an openable box made of sliding walnut wood veneer panels to improve the flexibility of the space 3. Add: a new staircase that provides natural light and ventilation through an opening on the top and a perfectible pavilion on the rooftop terrace for parties.
