The headquarters of Finansbank, a leading Turkish financial institution, are housed in the emblematic Kristalkule tower at the heart of Istanbul’s central business district. Designed by our firm, Kristalkule was acquired by Finansbank late in construction. The primary design challenge was integrating the bank’s program into the almost-completed building and establishing its corporate identity through interior design. Spaces in the complex are united by common details and elements, and a palette of materials whose variation in usage reflects the particularities of each space and its function.
