Located in protected zone of Forbidden City and occupying top two floors of the luxury retail and hospitality development WF Central, the hotel is highly sensitive to its context within the historic city center. Working within a height restriction of 32-meters, the building gradually steps down to the west in a gesture of respect to one of the most venerated sites in Chinese culture. Opened in March, the 73-room hotel marks the brand’s debut in the Chinese capital. Entry-level rooms measure 55sqm, some of most spacious accommodations in Beijing, and enjoy a view of the ancient imperial palace.
