The site is a mixed use apartment building situated in the famous philosophical neighborhood in Taipei city.Inspired by its surroundings, we try to blurred the physical boundary and introduce cultural and poetic atmosphere into common spaces. From the outside arcade to main entrance into reception, there are sections of big wooden panels imitate section of books. The high ceiling lobby is surrounded by book shelves can serve as a library allow occupants and visitors to pick up something to read or even host community book club events.
