In Istanbul, an existing building was expected to be expanded, partially demolished to add a warehouse building and raised by adding another floor. The "masjid" used in the basement had a dark, stuffy area. Our proposal to relocate the masjid to the additional floor was found appropriate. The mass of the newly discussed "warehouse" and the "masjid", which is considered as an additional floor, were solved with a mutual architectural language with the same material and similar forms. The new design that's wrapping its top floor almost like it's leaning over, is a metal sheet.
