My design intent was to update the garden to what can best be described as “California Modern”. This includes a strong, seamless indoor/outdoor relationship between garden and home. In addition, a soothing color palette of beige and blue was used throughout the garden. The plant material consists of many silver-blue toned Mediterranean plants. Metal work includes powder coated gates, wall-cap trims, trellis and screens. Travertine flagstone creates a sophisticated look. The existing pool deck was raised 12" to be flush with the house. The century old Oak tree acts as a focal point.
