Taweecool House, a new rebuilt environment replaced by using 80% of the 5R’s (reuse, recycle, reclaim, re-pattern and re-value) design approach from the 70-year old house. Conceptualized by owner-architect Khiensak, the goal and end result of this project was to promote the vision of Taweecool family’s accountability in the context of cultural conservation of Norah’s performing art as its contribution into the “Living community.” The architecture of Taweecool house was integrated with research-based design using low-cost design solution: LCDs as well as the culture-based sustainability.
