Casa Candelaria, located at the outsides of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, was conceived under the idea to return to the program of Mexican haciendas, solving the house around courtyards which themselves cohere tension and relationship of the volume's function that surround each of them. Another key intention for the design development was the use of rammed earth walls as construction method, with natural aggregates that pigments the earth to black, seeking to blend with natural context, making vegetation the main element, dominated by endemic species.
