Tan courtyard locates in a multiple community, Keqiao District, Shaoxing City, a place inherits the ancient “Yue” culture. It functions as public activity hall, including family gathering, workshop, education, art and others for residents' leisure lifestyle. Gardens in Shaoxing are spacious and vast, built with simplest materials like stone, glass curtain and wooden grates. Through height difference, twists and turns, virtuality and reality combination, the genuine taste can be felt in ordinariness.
