The key concept of the kindergarten is forest-ness for a new model of experience-based learning core for a community. Rooms were scattered and placed carefully in harmony with the environment. Roofs and wood decks generate amorphous exterior space between rooms. As a forest has its continuity while each scenes still remains vivid uniqueness, the kindergarten has diverse spatial features in each places according to its height, width, and materiality. These varied spatial experiences develop creativity, curiosity and social ability of children and stimulate new activities for a community.
